These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Career Threader, a product of Threader Technologies Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Access is self-serve: create an account at careerthreader.com and complete checkout. A valid email address is required. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
Career Threader is sold as a one-off payment of £49 (British pounds, exclusive of VAT where applicable) for twelve months of access. There is no subscription and no auto-renewal. At the end of the twelve-month term, access ends automatically unless you choose to renew. We reserve the right to modify pricing for future purchases with reasonable notice on the pricing page; your existing twelve-month term is not affected by any subsequent price change.
A refund is available within fourteen days of purchase if Career Threader is not useful to you; contact hello@careerthreader.com and we will refund the full £49 without requiring a reason. After the fourteen-day window, no refunds are offered, and access continues until the end of your twelve-month term. On renewal you will be offered a thirty percent discount on a further twelve months; the renewal code is shown at purchase and sent by email near the end of your term.
You agree to use Career Threader only for its intended purpose: structured career thinking and decision support for your own use. You may not attempt to extract, reproduce, or reverse-engineer the system prompts, frameworks, or proprietary methodologies embedded in the service. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the service. You may not use automated systems to access the service beyond normal usage patterns.
The Career Threader application, including its design, methodology, prompts, and code, is the intellectual property of Threader Technologies Ltd. Content you create using Career Threader (dossiers, prep notes, exported documents) belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of your work product. We may use anonymised, aggregated usage data to improve our services.
Career Threader is a decision-support tool, not a professional advisory service. The service does not constitute career, legal, or financial advice. You should exercise independent judgement when using outputs in any consequential context.
Career Threader uses AI (powered by Anthropic's Claude API) to assist with analysis and content generation. AI outputs are provided as a starting point for your own judgement, not as definitive advice. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and validating all AI-generated content before acting on it. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI outputs for any specific purpose.
AI-generated outputs are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The AI capabilities of Career Threader depend on third-party infrastructure (Anthropic Claude API) whose behaviour, model versions, and output characteristics are outside our control and may change without prior notice from us. You acknowledge that AI outputs may contain errors or inaccuracies and that you bear sole responsibility for any decisions made or actions taken based on such outputs.
Your use of Career Threader is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Career information you provide is processed to generate your outputs and is not shared with other users. We do not use your content to train AI models.
We aim to maintain high availability of Career Threader but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications to the service with reasonable notice where practicable. Career Threader depends on third-party AI infrastructure (Anthropic Claude API) and may be affected by changes to the availability, terms, or performance of those services. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from service interruptions, downtime, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Threader Technologies Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Career Threader, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of business opportunities. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Threader Technologies Ltd, its officers, directors, and employees from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of AI-generated outputs, including any reliance on such outputs in professional, commercial, or client-facing contexts; (b) content you upload to or create using the service; (c) your breach of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any applicable law or regulation. This indemnification obligation shall survive the termination of your account and these Terms.
You may end your use of the service at any time; no cancellation is required because there is no subscription. We may terminate or suspend your access if you breach these Terms, with no refund in that case. Upon termination, your right to access the service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days following termination to allow for data export, after which it will be deleted. For any enquiry, contact hello@careerthreader.com.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to active users. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
In the event of any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the service, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith negotiation. Either party may initiate this process by providing written notice to the other party describing the dispute. The parties shall have 30 days from receipt of such notice to reach a resolution. If the dispute is not resolved within this period, either party may pursue formal proceedings in accordance with the governing law clause below.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
